摘要
目的观察硫酸镁对铁离子诱发的癫痫大鼠的保护作用,为临床应用硫酸镁治疗难治性癫痫提供实验依据。方法将铁离子微量注入大鼠杏仁体建立创伤性癫痫模型,观察腹腔注射硫酸镁对模型大鼠急性癫痫发作的影响及对海马神经元的保护作用。结果杏仁体注射铁离子导致大鼠产生复杂的癫痫发作,皮层脑电图(ECoG)有相应的棘波发放;硫酸镁使铁离子诱发的急性癫痫发作大鼠只数减少,硫酸镁组的大鼠海马锥体细胞脱失较模型组明显减少。结论硫酸镁能减轻铁离子诱发的急性癫痫发作,对海马神经元损伤有一定的保护作用。提示镁离子可作为辅助性药物用于治疗创伤导致的难治性癫痫。
Objective To observe the protective effect of magnesium sulfate on epileptic rats induced by ferric chloride, to provide an experimental guideline for the therapy of magnesium sulfate on the intractable epilepsy. Methods Traumatic epilepsy model was made by microinjecting ferric chloide into amygdaloid body, to observe the effect of magnesium sulfate injected intraperitoneally on model rats' acute seizures and the protective effect to hippocampus neurons. Results Rats had complicated seizures, and corresponding spikes changes occurred in ECoG, magnesium sulfate can reduce the number of seizures' rats induced by iron, the magnesium sulfate group rats' injured hippocampus pyramid cells are much less comparing with the model group. Conclusions Magnesium sulfate can inhibit the seizures induced by iron and protect the hippocampus neurons in some degree. This indicate that magnesium may be helpful to the therapy of intractable epilepsy induced by trauma.
