The paper systematically analyses the harm, causes and protective measures for problemof water hummer used in the drainage system of thousand-meter shaft in coal mine.After precise calculation and analysis to the pump-off water hummer, the paper suggestsapplying the closed loop torque control process to eliminate water impact, which leadsto perfect protective result.
