A Study of Computer-and-network Assisted Autonomous Learning Mode in College English

多媒体和网络技术的发展有力地推动着大学英语教学改革.本文介绍了东南大学开展的基于计算机和网络的大学英语自主学习模式试点教学的实践过程,并以三次问卷调查数据为基础,剖析了学生对新模式的态度和看法.文章讨论了新模式相比传统模式所凸显的优势,并指出应从师生及客观环境两个方面分析和解决教学中出现的问题.

The development of multimedia and network has greatly facilitated the reform in college English teaching. This paper introduces the reformative computer-and-network assisted autonomous learning mode in college English at Southeast University and analyzes the students＇attitudes towards this new mode on the basis of the data collected in three questionnaires. After listing the advantages of the new teaching mode compared with the traditional one, the paper probes into the causes of the existing problems in the process of teaching and learning.
