首次采用ＲＴ－ＰＣＲ法检测出一株中国庚型肝炎病毒Ｃ（ＧＢＶ－Ｃ）ＲＮＡ，并对扩增产物进行了序列测定。其核酸序列与Ｓｉｍｏｎｓ等报道的ＧＢＶ－Ｃ序列同源性高达９２．４８％．
Partial gene(NS3)of a Chinese GBV-C was sequenced.The base composition of the region was 21.05% adenine.22.93% thymine,25.56% cytosine and 30.45% guanine. The nucleotide and amino acid sequence of the region were compared with the corresponding parts of GBV-C reported by Simons.The nucleotide and amino acid homology between the two GBV-C were 92.48% and 98.82% respectively.The results also suggested that GBV-C not be the main cause of Non A-E hepatitis.
