In most cases, the choice of grammatical forms are usually decided by the content of the discourse. The order of the language materials in a discourse generally follows such a pattern of information structure as known…unknown. known…unknown, which affects the choice of the grammatical forms. Schema theory in a discourse is closely related to the information structure which has an important influence on the choice of the grammatical forms.
