Through an analysis of physical education and sport development history, this paper elaborates that it is a historical course of physical education from school to society, military field expanding and sport from society to school and then from school to society expanding. It points out that its essence is the generalization of physical education and sport, and analyzes the historical cause of physical education and sport generalization, represents the historical connotation of physical education and sport concept.
