Lin Shu was the first person who translated the foreign literary works on a large scale in modern China. However, there are lots of kinds of “error” in his versions that often were criticized by others. The author tried to analyze and compare “creative rebel” with the “error” in Lin＇s Versions, in order to find out the relation and distinction between them.
