数字图书馆的元信息环境

摘要 阐述了“元数据”和“元信息”的作用,并对传统图书馆元信息环境的特征进行了概括。总结出元信息环境是通过一系列高水平的服务来构造的,而这些高水平的服务也必须得到低水平服务的支持,这其中的一些服务是由扩展的“知识表示系统”提供的。最后阐述了数字图书馆元信息环境的涵义。
