摘要
“中国现当代文学”学科是建立在其内涵的内在冲突与紧张的基础之上的,因而遭到不同向度的质疑。笔者以为,要重建中国现代文学学科的合法性,必须走出绝对化的本质主义和简单的二元对立思维模式,重新理解中国现代文学之“现代性”。在中国的历史语境中,现代民族国家的文学建构、启蒙主义的文学叙事、文学的自律性追求和现代都市通俗文学的萌动等,构成了中国现代文学之“现代性”的多元内涵与多重向度,并且呈现出一个多元共生、异质互动、多方纠缠的生成与建构过程,一个传统被不断改写与重构的过程。
The discipline of “Modern Chinese Literature” is built on its internal conflicts and tension and therefore is questioned from different angles. The author of this paper believes that in order to rebuild the disciplinary legitimacy of Modern Chinese Literature, we must discard the absolute essentialism and the mode of binary opposition so as to understand the “modernity” of modern Chinese literature. In the historical context of China, the “modernity” of modern Chinese literature is intentionally and directionally multiple with such elements as the literary construction of the modern nation-state, the literary narrative of Enlightenment, the autonomous pursuit of literature and the emergence of modern urban popular literature. All these make up a process of becoming and construction with the co-existence, reciprocity and interweaving of multiple heterogeneous elements, a process of ceaseless rewriting and reconstruction.
