摘要
分析了VML(矢量图形标记语言)和MapInfo的MIF/MID数据交换文件的各自特点,详细叙述了MIF/MID文件格式到VML格式转换过程,实现了MapInfo图形数据可视化,验证了基于VML实现地理空间数据可视化的可行性。
It has analyzed separately each of the traits of VML（Vector Markup Language） and Maplnfo＇s MIF/ MID data exchange file. On which to base, it particularly recites the process of the transformation from MIF/ MIF file format to VML format, and realizes the visualization of the MapInfo＇s Graphic Data. So it validats the possibility of the visualization of geographic spatial data based on VML.
