语义网是近年来提出的用于解决万维网在信息描述、信息表达和信息检索等方面一系列问题的新技术。在描述语义网基本概念的基础上,提出了信息资源专业领域本体构建体系结构,及专业领域本体构建的方法和步骤。

Semantic web is a new technique to be put forward to solve a series of technical problems in information description, expression and searching. On the basis of describing the semantic web environment, the systematic construction, methods and procedures for structuring semantic web environment in the professional field of information resources are suggested.
