With quick development of computer muhimedia technology, traditional teaching mode is successively updating. More and more teachers have paid attention to multimedia teaching mode due to its visual, vivid, interesting and interacting characteristics. Taking mechanical design basic course as example, the author presents how to adequately and properly give full play to advantages of multimedia teaching and actually meet the objective of improving teaching quality.
