摘要 存储I/O能力一直是制约VOD系统性能的主要瓶颈之一,和以往的分析不同,本文根据VOD系统的存储特点,从全新的视角提出一种解决方案——基于对象存储的VOD系统(OS-VOD),文章分析了OS-VOD的系统结构和工作流程,并简要评述该系统性能,指出该系统对今后建设超大规模VOD系统具有重要的参考作用。 Storage performance is one of the drawbacks for developing VOD system. According to the characteristics of VOD,we present a VOD system based on object storage (OS-VOD) from a totally different angle of view in this paper. Thearchitecture and the working processes, as well as the performance of OS-VOD are also introduced, which should be animportant reference for bringing a super-scale VOD system into reality.
