从不同的数据类型和数据结构出发,介绍几种在现代社会科学领域使用最为广泛的一些统计方法,其中包括线性回归分析方法,分类数据分析方法,生存分析方法,结构方程模型,层次分析和纵向数据分析方法等。其重点不在方法本身,而在于使人们对现代西方社会统计学的应用有一个结构上的了解。
his paper introduces some most widely used statistical methods in social science in regards to data pattern and structures, including linear regression, categorical data analysis, survival analysis, structural equation models, and multilevel and longitudinal data analysis. Its focus is not on the method itself, but on the structural understanding in application of social statistics in western countries.
