高州缅茄嫁接繁殖试验

高州缅茄是有极高雕刻艺术价值的珍贵古树名木。通过嫁接繁殖试验结果表明,选择价格低廉缅甸产的缅茄种子培育砧木,取高州西岸古缅茄结果母枝作接穗,在秋季进行嫁接育苗,取得较佳嫁接效果,可培育出大批量早结实的高州西岸缅茄种苗。

Gaozhou＇Afielia xylocarpa is a kind of tree with great value in artistic carving. The experimental result of grafting and propagating shows that we can cultivate good early fruiting descendants in great numbers of Xian Gaozhou＇ Afielia xylocarpa by selecting low price seeds from Burma to grow stocks, with the fruiting mother branches from the old treein Xian Gaozhou as the scions to graft and raise seedlings in autumn.
