随着计算机技术的发展和广泛应用,数据量不断增加从而对网络存储提出了更高的要求,并由此诞生了许多新的网络存储技术,其中较为突出的是NAS和SAN,而NAS和SAN由于各自的优缺点及互补性出现了相互融合的趋势。NAS与SAN融合产生的巨大优势适应并推动了数字图书馆发展。

With the development of computer technology and its extensive application, the ever-increasing data volume had posed ever better requirements for the storage of network data, and a lot of new network storage technologies have emerged. Among them, the outstanding ones include NAS and SAN. NAS and SAN have represented the trend of integrating each other because of their advantages, disadvantages and complements.
