Under network environment, there are diversified forms of reminder service in the IlasⅡ system. This paper has analyzed methods of reminder service, including traditional and modem means. Reminder service is one of the most important services in the streamline service of libraries, which should be developed and improved to meet the demand of new situation, and also be based on the principle of resolving prominent conflicts in economic and social development and acute problems concerning the vital interests of the people.
