由于结构布置原因,客车的最后排座位常会高于前排座椅,其座垫平面与侧窗下缘的距离通常会很短,在发生事故时,最后排乘员的侧向安全性就不容易得到保证。文章提出在客车结构安全要求中应增加对座椅座垫平面与侧窗下缘垂直距离的要求,从而保证最后排乘员在行车过程中得到有效约束。

Because of the layout of coaches, the last row scats are usually higher than the front rows＇. The vertical distance from the seat cushion to the lower frame of the side windows is usually short. In accidents, these passangers on the tow are easy thrown out of the coach. It＇s necessary to have a minimum vertical distance requirement between the cushion and the lower frame of the side windows, in order to keep the passengers in last row in effective restraint.
