摘要 教育救国论作为一股重要的社会思潮,在中国近代史上产生过广泛而深远的影响。它是近代中国社会的救国主张之一,是民族危机和忧患意识的共同产物。它的兴起和发展大致经历了以下几个阶段萌发时期、勃兴时期、发展时期、高涨时期、回落时期。教育救国论作为中国近代史上影响深远的社会思潮,具有无可争辩的合理性和进步性。当然,教育救国论作为一种思潮又是有历史局限性的。 Being an important thought trend, the idea of “saving the nation through education” has a wide and profound influence in China's modern history, which is one of the progressive views concerning nation's salvation in modern times in China and which is the production of both the nation's crises at the time and the worries a- bout the miserable situation and the nation's future. The rising and developing of the tide take the steps as follows : embryonic stage; thriving stage; developing stage; upsurge stage and falling stage. This idea undisputedly is rational and advanced at the time , but, being a trend of thought , it is also historically limitary.
