The Design and Implementation of Geophysical Data Visualization Controls for Chinese 3D Lithosphere Structure Database

中国岩石圈三维结构数据库和其他研究场合涉及大量数据可视化问题。研制数据可视化控件可以达到最大程度的重用。各种二维数据可视化控件用VisualBasic开发,用WindowsAPI提高图形绘制能力。开发中从控件的显示界面、控件的属性、控件的事件和方法等方面进行规划和实现。对于各种地球物理数据可视化,除了涉及数据的控件专业属性、数据的传递和图形的具体绘制过程不同外,控件的其他部分是相同的,因此在开发不同的控件时可以重用大部分的代码和设计思想。

China 3D lithbosphere structure database and other research cases involve a large quantity of data visualization problems. Data visualization controls can be reused to the full extent. 2D data visualization controls are developed with Visual Basic, using Windows APIs to enhance their graphic capability. The development includes planning and realizing in such aspects of the controls as the displaying interfaces, properties, events and methods. For various geophysical controls, some properties related to the data, the data transferring methods and the graphic drawing procedures are different, whereas other aspects of the controls are the same. It is thus concluded that the designing approach and most of the codes may be reused in the development of various controls.
