摘要
MAPGIS在国内应用相当广泛,主要用于数字制图及空间数据库管理、空间分析。MAPGIS数据格式可与其他的地理信息系统软件如ArcGis的数据相互转换。本文主要介绍了利用MAPGIS地理信息系统,以新疆、甘肃、青海、宁夏地质图为例,应用第二代《中国地质图集》(中文版)中的MAPCAD数据,讨论建立1∶200万地质图数据库的方法、步骤及建立地质图数据库的意义。
MAPGIS is mainly used in digital mapping, spatial database management and spatial analysis. In China, this technique has already been widely utilized. Its data can be changed into other format data, such as ArcGis. Based on the MAPCAD data in Geological Atlas of China, the authors constructed 1:2 000 000 Chinese geological map database by using MAPGIS Geography Information System. Taking the maps of Xinjiang, Gansu, Qinghai, and Ningxia in Geological Atlas of China as examples, the authors describe the methods, steps and significance of the construction of the geological map database.
