This paper describes the performance feature and thermal ageing life of a new-type class H winding wire with single-layer glass-fibre and HS (HF) resin film. The application of the wire in D.C. machines for marine petroleum and in dry transformers are also introduced. Possibility of wide-spread of the wire service is discussed.
