This paper describes the basic hullform design of Z -propeller 2500 kW tug, as well as tug charcteristics and operating capacity. Some designs to meet the various requirements of owners at home and abroad may be derivated from the basic hullform. Also outfitting, main machinery and electrical equipment are outlined.
