摘要
闻一多是现代著名的诗人、学者。他主张用诗歌的“三美”主张来引导诗进入“纯形”的艺术,使中国新诗走向规范发展的道路。但闻一多的戏剧理论对中国现代戏剧的贡献却很少有人提及。他认为在戏剧革新中重问题轻艺术的现象是戏剧发展的歧途,必须拯救现代戏剧,这一强调不仅及时纠正了当时的戏剧发展偏向,且影响着整个中国现代戏剧的发展。论文将论述闻一多的戏剧观及其矛盾性,谈谈它对中国现代戏剧的贡献。
Wen Yi-duo, a renowned modem poet and scholar, proposed directing poetry into the realm of “pure” art by virtue of “three beautifid aspects” in poetry, thus having led the Chinese poetry onto the road of standardized development. However, little mention has been made of the contribution to modem Chinese drama of Wen Yiduo' s dramatic theory, who maintained that the practice of emphasizing issues to the negelct of art in theatrical reform was erroneous for dramatic development and that efforts be made to salvage modem drama. Such a proposal of Wen Yi-duo has not only redressed the deviations in dramatic development of that period but also impacted the development of the entire modem Chinese drama. This paper attempts to expound on Wen Yi-duo' s notion of drama, its contradictoriness and its contribution to modem Chinese drama.
