The Comparison of Intonation in English and Chinese from the Rhetorical Perspective and English' Learning

汉、英修辞手段对比对广大英语学习者提高英语修养的帮助是不言而喻的。对于各种修辞格的对比近年来已经有了较为系统的论述,但对于汉、英语音手段的对比的论述却较为鲜见。本文拟从汉、英修辞中语音手段对比的讨论来帮助英语学习者另辟蹊径,起一个抛砖引玉的作用。

The comparison between Chinese rhetoric and English rhetoric is of great significance in helping English learners. A lot of research work on making comparison of different rhetorical cases has been done in recent years. But this paper has focused on the comparison of means of intonatian in English and Chinese from the rhetorical perspective. It is to help English learners to achieve better understanding and more profound exploration on the target language literature.
