摘要
从设立“提高班”到全面贯彻教育部大学英语教学改革精神,苏州大学大学英语教学改革从“因材施教”尝试步入“分层次教学”试点。苏州大学大学英语教学改革试点在提高学生英语综合应用能力和促进学校其他教学改革方面起了积极的作用,但另一方面也暴露出学生自主性学习能力训练和培养等方面存在的不足。
From the initiation of “accelerating classes” to the full implementation of the college English teaching reform of the Ministry of Education, Soochow University college English teaching reform has developed from the “aptitude-based” teaching experiment to the “levelled teaching” trial practice. Soochow University college English teaching trial reform played an active role in improving students' all-rounded English application abilities and facilitating other teaching reforms of the university, and revealed, on the other hand, such hnperfeetions as the training and cultivation of students' autonomous learning, etc.
