The fossilization in interlanguage is much common in second/foreign language leaming and has become the concerns of linguists and researchers in language teaching for a long time. The paper outlines the theory of interlanguage fossilization and explores the important cognitive factors in fpssilization, in which what＇s implied is considered as significant for foreign language teaching.
