摘要
从语义学角度探讨了英语标点法的基本特征,用比较语言学的方法分析了英、汉两种语言标点法的区别。在此基础上按照翻译理论对英语标点符号提出了5种基本汉译方法。
The basic characteristics of English punctuation are discussed through semantics. Then the differences between English and Chinese punctualions are presented by means ot comparative linguistics. And finally, five Chinese translation approaches to English punctuation are proposed by the writer.
