英汉语言中均有许多表颜色的词语。本文对处于不同的文化传统下的英汉语言中的一些主要颜色词进行了探讨,论述了英汉颜色词的文化内涵的异同,旨在增强人们对不同文化的了解,促进异族文化的交流和融合。

There are many color words in both English and Chinese. This paper makes an elementary research into the difference and similarity between cultural connotation of English and Chinese color words, which aims to enhence the understanding of different cultures, thus promote the communication between different cultures.
