Through analyzing lexical pragrnatics and two kinds of pragmatic enrichment of word meaning, the author discusses the distinctive impression caused by “Lan Yue Liang”that is literal Chinese name of “Blue moon”as well as a variety of interesting usage and abundant cultural connotation of “Blue”, in order to develop and deepen the further mastery of the color word “Blue”
