How to improve the inoculation in the conditions of the low sulfur and electric furnace smelting has been studied. The result shows that improvement of the inoculation of low sulfur cast iron can be done by increasing the quality of inoculant instead ofcompensating the sulfur or changing the kind of inoculant.
