The reform and development in the field of explosive materials for civil purposes is explored in this paper.The following suggestions are put forward： More efforts are needed to continue the reform in the drive of introducing the mechanism of market and corporation, We should actively seek ways of developing explosive industry as our mainstream one and also gradually extending to others, which, it is hoped, can lessen the possible danger brought to the enterprise by the changes from the market, ect.
