This article introduces operation principle and structure characteristic of gland seal system of 210MW extract turbine, presents consideration that should be pay attention during commissioning operation, and analyzes problem existing in commissioning, such as inaccurate meter measurement, temperature loss control of low pressure gland steam, and interruption of gland steam, This paper also gives some relevant countermeasures, whieh are important for improvement of design, installation and operation.
