晚清福建地方精英与台湾建省——以林维源为研究对象看国家与社会的互动过程

Quintessence of Fujian Province in the Late Qing Dynasty and Establishment of Taiwan Province --Take LinWeiyuan for Example to Research the Process of the Interaction Between the Government and the Society

台湾建省是清政府在列强的环环紧逼下所作出的战略决策,清政府在推行这一决策的过程中得到了广大社会力量尤其是福建地方精英的强力支持,文章拟以台北板桥林维源家族为例来管窥地方精英在台湾建省中所发挥的作用。并在此基础上探讨国家与社会互动过程中福建地方精英活动所体现出的区域特点。

The establishment of Taiwan Province was a kind of strategic countermeasure in the condition that big powers put a series of forces on the Qing Dynasty. During the process of the practices of this policy decision , the Qing dynasty gained strong supports from wide social communities, especially local quintessence in Fujian Province. In this article, the example of Lin Weiyuan＇s family in Banqiao, Taiwan is taken to illustrate how the local quintessences played an important role in the establishment of Taiwan Province. Moreover, on the ground of this research, effort is put forth to explore the regional characteristic of the local quintessences which were in Fujian and Taiwan provinces in the process of the interaction between the governmeni and the society.
