A Comparative Analysis of the Stylistic Functions of Thought Presentation in The Prussian Officer

本文属于基础理论与应用相结合的研究。笔者从语言学与应用文体学的角度出发,分析研究了劳伦斯短篇小说《普鲁士军官》中人物心理描写的文体功能。本项研究以Short对心理描写的分类为理论框架,采用了数据统计与分析的方法,对小说中不同类型的心理描写进行了分析比较。本项研究的目的在于通过文本分析,帮助读者掌握一定的分析方法,从而建立自觉的语言与文体意识。

This study is a theoretical and applied stylistic research project. It is designed to examine the stylistic functions of thought presentation in D.H. Lawrence＇s short story The Prussian Officer. This study takes Short＇s classification of thought presentation as its theoretical framework, and makes a comparative analysis of different types of thought presentation in this story. The aim is to train readers to build a conscious linguistic and stylistic awareness.
