The establishment of powerful supervisory mechanism is very important to the implementation of ecology law. Russia not only has inherited the former Soviet Union＇ s advanced procedure in the legal surveillance aspect, but innovated greatly according to the national condition since the independence. Being the main state surveillance organization, the Russian federation procurator plays a comprehensive, thorough role in the implementation of Russian ecology law. By analyzing the legal basis of the supervisory function of the Russian federation procurator, the concrete surveillance domain, the role of the special natural conservation procurator＇ s in implementation of Russian ecology law , the surveillance method, the article elaborates the surveillance function of the Russian federation procurator in implementation of Russian ecology law.
