JJ Rousseau＇s descriptions on beauty of nature can be found in his works, Emile, The Confessions, The New Heloise, and etc. This paper, based on reviewing these materials, explained the relationship between the deep experience of emotion and production of beauty of nature. The paper, on the macro background of two types of beauty of nature, also discussed the JJ Rousseau＇s aesthetic tendency which was beyond ancient beauty and classical arts. Understanding JJ Rousseau＇s ideology of beauty of nature has the great significance on the study of western literature development of romanticism, modernism, and post modernism.
