摘要
结合传统C/S结构模型与新型trap传输机制,提出了一种新的自适应SNMP模型用于管理无线移动设备。新机制将trap信息分为3个等级,把几个普通的trap信息合并为一个数据包发送,而对于非常紧急的trap信息则增加了管理站的确认机制,保证传输的可靠性。根据trap信息的生成过程和紧急程度,不同等级的信息使用不同的传输机制,可更有效地使用无线带宽。性能分析表明,通过分级与合并两种方式的结合既节省了链路带宽,又提高trap信息传输的可靠性,且不会增加较大的处理延迟。
Combining the standard C/S model and the new adaptive trap scheme, a novel adaptive SNMP for mobile devices was proposed. This new method divided all trap messages into three categories and merged some non-emergent trap messages into a larger one before sending. On the other hand, the very important trap message was sent by agents and acknowledged by NMS to make sure a reliable delivery. According to the trap packet generated procedure and the emergent level, different trap levels used various reporting schemes which efficiently occupy the limited bandwidth of wireless channels. The performance analysis shows that the enhanced scheme of classifying and combining trap packets decreases the utilities of link bandwidth without increasing delay of dealing. The reliability of important trap delivery is increased.
