摘要
提高大学英语阅读教学的质量,一方面要加强学生对所阅读文章发生的具体情景语境的认识,包括其发生的语场、语旨和语式的了解,以便做到对文章潜在话语的发掘。另一方面要对学生进行目的语(即英语的文化背景)的教授,使学生能明确地意识到由文化差异所带来的语言上的差异,从而做到对文章更准确的理解。
To improve the quality of the college English reading teaching includes: Firstly, in the teaching of English reading, we must make the students know much about the situation of context, in which the discourse happens, so that they can predict the potential utterance that the author wants to express. Secondly, to make the students more aware of the linguistic difference brought by the cultural difference, we should give more information about the cultural information of English. Thus they could reach a much deeper comprehension of the text.
