摘要
阐述了时空数据建模的主要定义,分析了时空数据库领域的建模需求,包括时态语义、空间语义、时空语义和查询能力.通过对各模型在时空领域中实际应用的研究,重点比较了现有时空数据模型在这4个需求方面的能力表现,并对模型做出评价.结果表明,面向对象数据模型和移动对象数据模型在时空对象的表达上体现了较强的能力.
The key definitions of spatio-temporal data modeling are summarized and the requirements of spatio-temporal database community, including temporal semantics, spatial semantics, spatio-temporal semantics and query capabilities are specified. Through the investigation on the applications of the existing spatio-temporat data models in spatio-temporal domain, a comparison among these models for evaluating their capabilities in the four fields above mentioned is provided and the various approaches are assessed. As a result, spatio-temporal object-oriented data model and moving object data model behave more strongly in the expressions of the spatio-temporal objects.
