"音乐几乎是我全部的生活,为什么?很简单,因为我爱音乐."--这是高为杰先生2000年11月在上海"秋问"音乐会序幕电影中讲话的开始.那么,一个如此热爱音乐的人是怎样走上音乐之路、又怎样走过了他的音乐之路呢?

In 1987,Mr.Gao Weijie composed the piano piece The Vast Land in Autumn for his son Cao Ping, who was going to participate in the China National Piano Competition.In 1991,he was invited to compose the Dream of Farewell for bamboo flute and orchestra,which was played by flute musician Zhang Weiliang in his recital.In 1993,he was commissioned by the SACEM of France to compose the bamboo flute and flute duet the Dream of Ties.In 1994,he was invited by Erhu player Cao Dewei to compose the Dream of Metaphysics for Zhonghu and orchestra, which was played in Cao's recital.In 1994,he composed the forth piece of the Dream series,the Dream of the Remote for percussion and orchestra. In early 1996,Mr.Gao composed the Road for Pipa and piano, which was premiered in May that year.In 2001,commissioned by CRAME in Lyon,France,he composed the Memory in Rain for soprano and seven instruments (in Memory of My Mother),a work for the Conceit of Chinese Composers,which took place in Lyon as part of the project 'The Cultural Year of China'.
