Economic and Social Development in National Regions and the Construction of Harmonious Society

民族问题是社会问题的组成部分,是事关革命和建设全局的重大问题。民族地区和谐社会建设在社会主义和谐社会建设中占有重要的地位,构建社会主义和谐社会离不开民族地区和少数民族,只有民族地区建成了和谐社会,全国的和谐社会才有基础和保证。发展民族经济,实行民族区域自治,推进民族文化,增强民族团结,培养民族干部,实现各民族的共同繁荣发展,既是构建社会主义和谐社会的客观要求,也是构建社会主义和谐社会的重要保障。

National problems are important parts of social problems and influence revolution and the whole construction. The construction of harmonious society in national regions occupies an important position in the construction of socialist society. They are unseparatable. The former is the basis and guarantee of the latter. Developing national economy, carrying out national regional autonomy, promoting national culture ,enhancing national unity, training national cadres and realizing common prosper of every minority are the objective requirement of the construction of socialist society and also the important guarantee of the construction of socialist harmonious society.
