摘要
讨论了采用RGBCMY实现6基色LCD显示的理论问题。根据这一理论,CMY数据极易从RGB运算得到。制造的显示器成本低廉,易控制一致性,还色性好,亮度高,无需采用子场顺序显示,没有附加的光损耗,生产难度小,利于普及。本文并不强调对于孟塞尔色度空间的覆盖率,而是强调家用液晶电视及显示器实际上最大限度的色彩还原。
This Paper describes the principle of practical Six-Primary LCD Displays. In this theory, the data of CMY are easily got from RGB. The extra cost of this Display will be very low, and the evenness is easily controlled. The scope of color reproduction on displays is enlarged significantly. The brightness of the displays won't become lower. It will be not necessary to use sub-field sequential scanning. So there won't be loss for anything. And difficulty of mass production wilt be not high. The theoretical basis of this paper won't stress the enlarged rate in Munsell cotour-order system. But it stresses the maximum reproduction of home LCD TV and monitors.
