On the Strengthening of the Countermeasures of the Superintendence by the Party Itself

邓小平同志曾经把党的监督概括为三种形式,即党内监督、群众监督和民主党派及无党派人士的监督。这三种监督,相互联系,互为补充,构成了党的监督的完整机制。这三种监督形式中,党内监督起着主导作用。发扬党内民主,强化党内监督,增强拒腐防变和抵御风险能力,提高党的领导水平和执政水平是长期以来全党全国人民一直关注和迫切期望解决的一个重大课题。

Comrade Deng-Xiao-ping used to generalize the superintendence of the Party in three types： the Party superintendence by itself, by masses, and by non-Party personages. These three types constitute a complete mechanism, among them the first one plays the leading role. It is an important task to enhance the democracy within the Party, to strengthen the inner-Party supervision, and to prevent it from corruption.
