诗人自杀是一种特殊的社会现象,朱湘之死与其他诗人的自杀一样历来为学术界所关注,并各持异议。朱湘的自杀不仅有形而上的原因,也有形而下的原因,是诗人的人格缺陷、婚姻爱情悲剧、理想追求的失落等内外综合因素的挤压而导致的精神压迫感所造成的结果。

Poets＇ suicides is a special social phenomenon. Zhu xiang＇s death is followed with interest as well as other poets＇ suicides in the academic circles. They have objections to his Suicides, Poet Zhu Xiang＇s Suicides is not only metaphysical,but also philosophy.It results from the unwithstanding inside and outside mental, extruding,which caused by poet＇s personality flaw,marital tragedy and the ideal ambition＇ s failure.
