英语语法在长期的历史发展进程中，其自身体系的形成、发展与完善经历了多种变迁．以至于形成了今天语法界流派众多、形态各异、诸雄论争、百花争艳的喜人局面。本文从英语语法的历史入手，对语法界诸子百家各流派的特点逐一进行剖析，简要且系统地阐述了英语语法的体系性。

In its long period of development, English grammar has experienced formations in its forming,improving and perfecting.Now formed in Grammar Circle a variety of transare a number of grammatical schools which are distinguished from each other and each of which has its own remark- able view. This article begins with the historical development of English grammar, making an in-depth analysis on the characteristics of each grammatical school and illustrating the systems of English grammar briefly and systematically.
