摘要 DRT is a very important theory in natural language logic after Montague Grammar. It was proposed by Dutch logician Hans Kamp in early 1980s. In the West, DRT not only received attention by logician and the linguists, but also attracted more artificial intelligent study and psychologist’s interest. Why are so many scholars interested in DRT? What is the background of DRT? Which problems have been solved by DRT? This paper tries to answer these above questions.
