Socks5协议在分布式计费系统中的新应用

New application of Socks5 to Distributed Account System of Streaming Media

提出一种创新的系统结构,解决了流媒体的分布式计费问题,目前已经投入使用。这种方案的基本思想是利用SPI网络层封装Socks5协议,从而将Socks5这样一个认证协议很好地应用于流媒体服务,同时SPI网络层能准确地统计业务层的网络数据流量。由于这套系统是在SPI层中实现,它对于运输层是透明的。不管运输层采用的是TCP协议还是UDP协议,都能将网络服务的数据捕获进行统计,而无需更改现有的业务系统。

A New Distributed Account System for Streaming Media was introduced, Most Present Account System was based on event, such as one download, one click and so on. However, it was more suitable to be based on time, such as the New Account System. The basic way of this system was encapsulate Socks5 protocol in SPI layer, In this way, Socks5 protocol would be used to authentication in Accotmt System and SPI would capture all data from application layer. What was more, SPI layer was transparent to applieatinn layer, so existing application system didn＇t need to be modified.
