"Tshatsha" and Buddha Pagoda

“擦擦”是藏传佛教的一种艺术品。“擦擦”与佛塔有着密切的内在联系,我国西藏佛塔塔腔内装藏“擦擦”的这一习俗源自古印度佛塔内盛放佛教圣物的宗教礼俗。“擦擦”在西藏的制作和供奉十分普遍,是藏传佛教佛塔艺术中的一颗明珠。

“Tshatsha” （miniature image of a Buddha）, one kind of art stuffs in Tibetan Buddhism, has a close relation with Tibetan Buddhist Pagoda. The custom that putting “Tshatsha” into the Tibetan Pagoda was originated from the religious etiquette and custom putting Buddhism holly items into Indian Pagoda in India. It is very popular to make and worship “Tshatsha” in Tibetan Buddhist Pagoda.
