藏语文现代化的若干思考

Considerations to the Modernization of Tibetan Language

藏语是藏族人民的主要交际工具。在世界步入信息化和现代化的今天,语言趋同、语言濒危现象已成为现代语言生活的突出问题。藏语文也不例外。民族语文生存发展的根本出路,就是要在改善外部环境的同时,形成强有力的内部适应机制,即一方面积极推广语言的规范化和现代化,另一方面要因地制宜地实施以母语教育为基础的双语教育,这是改善和保护语言生态环境的有效措施。

Tibetan language is the main means for Tibetan people to communicating and thinking. During the long process of historical development, Tibetan people created their own history and brilliant culture. Nowadays,with the process of information science and social modernization, the phenomena of language assimilation and more appearance of endangered languages has become a serious problem. Tibetan language is not an exception. As people making constant effort to probe into the problem, we found that the standardization and modernization of language and the practice of bilingual education are of effective measures to protect the language ecosystem.
